From small beginnings came great things.

I didn't really know the difference between reading paperback books and studying with ReadPhonics. However, I was surprised to see my son's improvement after using ReadPhonics.

First of all, my son began to have a habit of thorough reading. Consequently he became more creative and thoughtful. Also, his vocabulary and writing became much superior to his peers. It was great to see his progress.

He was recognized as a Spelling Bee at school, and he received A+'s on his writings

It was a better way after all.

As you know, education is the biggest concern among parents. Of course, parents in San Diego county are no exceptions. If one parent recommends an after-school program, other parents would be eager to send their children to the program. And this cycle goes on.

One day, my husband brought ReadPhonics home and explained me how to use it. I wasn't really convinced at that time, but I didn't say anything to him. However, after 2 months, my children began to show significant improvements in their English classes. I'm really thankful to ReadPhonics program. Above all, my husband's insight in choosing the right study material was the key to my children's academic success, "Thank you, dear. It was better way after all!"

Before when I just read a book, I would not look up any words I did not know. I didn't want to get up and stop reading for a while to look up the word in the dictionary, so I just never did. With Read Phonics, I can learn new words and understand what I'm reading better.

Aaron Pyon (10, LA Art School)

By using the Read Phonics program, I was able to increase my vocabulary. This was the most substantial effect I saw. By increasing my vocabulary, I could understand words that other people at my school couldn't when they first ran across it, because I was also able to see the vocabulary word used in context instead of just on some list. Another thing I wouldn't naturally have done if it wasn't for this program was to read. It is also very convenient to be able to read and learn vocabulary all on the computer. It is less of a hassle than doing it another way.

The ReadPhonics study program is a great way to expand my vocabulary. And because most of the words in this program are used in the SAT's. It helps me a lot to prepare for my college entrance examinations. Another way that I benefit from this program is that I am able to read some of the great classics as well as read books required to be read anyway at my school.

When I used to send my writing work to ReadPhonics, my grades were usually 2 and 3. But I kept on practicing with my writing skill and now it raised to 3 and 4. It helped me know what to do with my topic sentences and what to write. It also helped me with giving examples to support my thought. Doing the vocabulary helped me know and understand more words that I didn't know. Writing these essays after reading the stories helped my reading comprehension boost up because in most tests, my reading scores were C's. My scores are now A's and B's. My goal now is to know every single word in Readphonics and to get get my reading comprehension grades to 5.

Daniel Pyon (4, Arroyo Vista)

When I used the Readphonics system I read a lot of interesting books and vocabulary. By the increase of my vocabulary, I know a lot of vocabulary- more than my friends. This system has increased my vocabulary greatly.

I like Read Phonics because it helps you learn new words and it's a great learning experience for kids. If you go over the words again and again, you learn the words and it gets stuck in your head. Even though you don't speak English very well, when you enter the contest, you learn new words and it will improve your English. Another thing about Read Phonics is that if you win, you will feel proud and gain confidence in your reading and speaking skills. Plus you get prize money generously given by the people of Read Phonics and that is an added bonus to your pride and reading and speaking skills.

Kevin Lee (3, 3rd street Elementary School)

What I like about Read Phonics is because it helps me a lot with reading comprehension and vocabulary. It is also fun competing in all of the puzzle tests and impressing my mom. Once I got a really good score on my puzzle test and tricked my mom by telling her I got a bad score but told her I got a good one when she was so surprised. I really enjoy working on Read Phonics and lots of the books are very interesting. The compositions give me good topics to talk about. I also enjoy finding errors in stories and reporting them to the company for money. It feels like I'm an adult with a very good job. I am really glad that I won third place in the puzzle test contest. I thought it was a very good experience. I really liked it. I think Read Phonics is very fun and want other people to start using the Read Phonics program.

The program not only increased the level of my vocabulary, but also made memorizing words less strenuous. For me, this program practically created a shorcut for memorizing words and their definition. It helped me to write better works of writing and you can see countless differences between my former and present writing. I skimmed through the reading to search for any words I wasn't familiar with. I double clicked the words I didn't know to find their definitions and then I just memorized. The testing after every chapter really helped me catch hard words that I missed and it was really easy.
